About RedRipple
RedRipple is a location-based blood donation platform built to connect donors with those in urgent need—starting right here in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It began as an idea shared among friends: a simple yet powerful way to use technology for social good.
What started as a conversation grew into a collective effort. A group of university students—spanning medical, engineering, and other disciplines—came together to build something real. Each brought their own skills, perspectives, and passion to the table. Together, we created RedRipple: a tool designed to make blood donation more accessible, efficient, and community-driven.
Behind every feature, every line of code, and every design choice was a shared belief—that small actions can lead to big change. This project is not just about solving a problem; it's about serving our community, learning from each other, and growing together.

Meet the Team
Each member of our team brings a unique perspective and skill set to RedRipple. Here's a little about who we are and what drives us.
Syeed Mahmud Nishat
Co-founder | Medical Student
Assalamualaikum, I'm a second-year medical student and one of the co-founders of RedRipple. This project began as a small side idea, but it quickly became something deeply meaningful. RedRipple connects people in urgent need of blood with nearby donors, aiming to make a difficult moment a little easier.
I believe in quiet acts of kindness and the power of community. I love listening to people — their stories, their dreams, and the ideas they're passionate about. Outside of med school and RedRipple, I'm involved in medical research and other startups, always learning and growing.
Muhaimenul Haque Prottoy
Co-founder | Biomedical Engineer & Designer
I'm a Biomedical Engineering graduate with a background in visual design, creative media and deep learning — and one of the co-founders of RedRipple. I wasn't part of the founding team at the very beginning, but when a junior of mine studying at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College reached out to me for help with the design aspects — I found myself naturally drawn to the mission.
As someone with a rare blood group (B-negative) and a strong interest in healthcare innovation, the project resonated strongly with me. What started as a design collaboration soon turned into a deeper commitment to the cause.
RedRipple is more than just a platform — it's about building a faster, kinder network where a single drop can ripple into saving a life.
Outside of RedRipple, I explore medical imaging, design interfaces, and build AI tools that connect people and solve real problems.
Nafis Sadiq
Co-founder | Lead Developer | EEE Student
Hey! I'm Nafis — an Electrical and Electronic Engineering student at RUET and the sole developer behind RedRipple.
I joined RedRipple because I believe tech shouldn't just look cool; it should mean something. When the idea of a platform to connect blood donors first came up among our friends, I knew this was more than just a project — it was a chance to build something that truly saves lives.
As the only tech person on the team, I handle everything from backend architecture to frontend interfaces — every line of code, every feature, every detail. My goal is simple: make the experience smooth, fast, and reliable so that anyone in need can find help without barriers.
Outside of RedRipple, I love exploring AI, working on side projects, and sharing what I learn with others. I'm always hungry for new challenges and new ways to use technology for good.
Together, We Ripple Forward
RedRipple isn't just a platform — it's a movement fueled by compassion, collaboration, and the belief that every small act counts. Whether you're a donor, someone in need, or just someone curious about the mission, you're part of this story. We're still learning, still building, and still dreaming bigger every day.
Join us. Share, support, or simply spread the word — because one drop can create ripples that reach far beyond what we imagine.
